The Art of Fundraising - Who gives and why?

Thursday 21 March, LCGN members enjoyed another inspiring dinner conference with Karine Klein, previously Head of private fundraising at MSF Switzerland from 2004 until 2008 and since then consultant and trainer in fundraising. 

Members and guests not only used the dinner gathering for active networking, but also had the opportunity to get a glimpse on how the various motivations and expectations of donors should be carefully addressed for successful humanitarian fundraising. Key trends in philanthropic giving were pointed out and Lions learnt more about applying principles and reflecting on the context of locally-active Lions Club management.

We also had the honour of hosting our Zone President, Melania Averna, as well as welcoming potential new members of LCGN.
