Ms Paula Kiama, sponsored by Audrey Brasier, was inducted by Susanne Shtewi, LCGN's current President as a new member of our Lions Club right after the LCGN Assembly. Paula Kiama was surrounded by her husband, son and brother who were present and attended the dinner that concluded the evening.

10.00-12.00 Visit of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum with a guide

12.00-13.00 Bus tour through the international Geneva guided by a former UN Diplomat

13.00 Light lunch at Tie Break with members of LC Geneva Nations

14.30 Departure to Place Neuve by bus in Geneva City Centre

15.00 Guided tour of Parc des Bastions and the Old Town of Geneva

Or Visit of the Patek Philippe Museum with some of LCGN members

19.00 Apéro in the Hotel Garden and Dinner inside with Music and Tombola

Sunday 15. September

10.45 Boat ride 1st class on historical ship from Geneva to Nyon

12.00 Arrival in Nyon and bus departure back to Germany

End of Lions' year : farewell to current President and welcome to the new one

Members and friends of LCGN as well as potential new members gathered at Creux de Genthod for the traditional end of Lions' year Apero of the President. On this occasion, Helgard Adams, who has completed her one year tenure, warmly thanked all members of the Committee and welcomed Susanne Shtewi, the incoming President. An auction was organised by the new President in order to raise money for the beehives project.

Move for the Planet: walk around Dardagny

Several LCGN members gathered on Saturday 25 May to walk 4 km around Dardagny, Geneva Canton in order to collect funds that will be used to plant trees. The group was later hosted for coffee and cake by a LCGN member living in Dardagny.

LCGN members, former ones, potential new members, members Leo Club Genève as well as guests & partners attended the Power Presentation given by Samuel Baertschi, President Leo Club Genève: Who are the Leos and how can Leos and Lions best cooperate ?

Audrey Brasier, LCGN webmaster then took us through LionsBase application.

Helgard Adams, LCGN current President then introduced the 2 new members, namely Ms Mala Prasad and Dr.Vinayak Mohan Prasad.

A dinner conluded this very inspiring programme with more than 20 people present.
